98% of people are unhappy because...

You need to STOP doing this!

98% of people are unhappy because they put fitting in above doing the things that make them happy.

And for the majority of my life, I was one of them.

I put the approval of others above the approval of myself

And the approval of myself above the approval of God.

That is a recipe for disaster!

So it is no surprise that my life felt empty, unfulfilling and miserable.

Fitting in won’t make you happy.

Being your true authentic self will.

Don’t change who you are to please other people.

Because think about it…

We were all created with different purposes, strengths and desires.

We were not created to fit in.

And the truth is, if you change who you are to make other people like you,

They don’t actually like you, they like the person that you’re pretending to be.

So as a result you won’t feel appreciated and you will continue to feel empty.

God has opened my eyes this year to the fact that the biggest gift that I have is who I am.

The good, the bad and the ugly.

I am embracing it all because that is what makes me unique.

And I urge each of you to do the same.

It’s the ONLY way to live a happy and fulfilling life.

Pretending to be someone that you’re not just to fit in may deceive other people

You may get external approval and validation.

But you can’t deceive yourself.

You will still have an internal void.

You will still feel miserable.

The real you is the version of you that you are when no one else is watching.

When you are sat in a quiet room alone with just your thoughts and God.

That is the real you.

You can smile all you want in public

But is that version of you happy?

Once you grow to love yourself for who you truly are you will start to feel loved by others.

And it is so rare in this day and age to be authentic so you will attract people to you.

And those people will love the real you - not the fake version of you that you think they want.

The truth is, most people are pretending…

I recently exposed a fear of mine that I have been hiding for a while…

I have documented every day of my journey facing my fear here, so check it out!

I thought that I would be judged and mocked but the support I have received has been overwhelming.

It turned out so many people struggled with the same thing secretly, but we were all pretending!

If I had continued to pretend I would have felt alone.

But by embracing who I am I was able to inspire others and grow to 4000 followers in the process!

So I urge each of you to:

  • Embrace your authentic self (the good, the bad and the ugly).

  • Show up as your true self always.

  • Stop trying to fit in.

No one has ever become successful by trying to fit in, so why do you want to fit in?

Standing out is a gift.

Make it part of your lifestyle.

Because remember:

Success isn’t a destination; it’s a lifestyle.

Have an amazing week!
