How to attract blessings into your life
This is a FREE superpower!
We live in an entitled society.
Not only does everyone expect what they want, they expect it fast.
We’re so caught up chasing the next goal that we rarely pause and reflect on everything we have been blessed with.
Instead of being grateful, we spend most of our days complaining.
Instead of praising God, we spend most of our days forgetting him.
Instead of helping others, we spend all of our time thinking about ourselves.
We get so caught up in life that we forget about this superpower.
Which costs nothing but can attract everything you want in your life.
What is the superpower?
Gratitude.
A few months ago I made a promise to myself that I would make a conscious effort to stop complaining.
Complaining only attracts more negativity into your life.
Complaining is you saying God hasn’t given you enough!
You clearly love complaining so you will be given more things to complain about.
I used to constantly complain and compare myself to others and it led me to live a life of misery.
These last few months, since I committed to stop complaining, have been the best months of my life so far.
Did my life suddenly become easy?
No.
Did all my problems disappear?
No.
So what changed?
My perspective.
This has changed my life.
On every dark day in your life, look for the stars in the sky that are shining bright.
There is ALWAYS something positive to take from every situation.
God uses challenges to teach you, not to punish you.
No matter the situation you’re in, there is someone who has it worse but is doing better with what they have than you are.
The moment that changed my perspective happened a few months ago.
My legs were hurting and I was walking in the cold and the rain and all I was doing was complaining and feeling sorry for myself.
“My legs hurt”.
“I hate the UK weather”.
“This walk is so long.”
As I was having a p party I saw a man across the street.
He didn’t look like he was complaining.
And guess what?
He was in a wheelchair.
Reality slapped me in the face that day.
How dare I complain about my legs hurting when he would probably do anything for my legs!
So I urge each of you to stop complaining and start expressing gratitude for all the things God has blessed you with.
your family
your friends
you have a roof over your head
you have heating (hopefully)
you have a working brain
And so much more.
Gratitude is the superpower that will attract blessings into your life.
The only guest at your pity parties is the devil himself.
That is when you are most vulnerable and he can exploit you.
Never forget that.
Stop complaining.
Start expressing gratitude.
Take a moment to reflect and give thanks.
Let’s all start living a gratitude lifestyle because remember:
Success isn’t a destination; it’s a lifestyle.
May God bless you all.
